  • Utilized instrumentation tools Tester, Digital Multimeter, Insulation resistance tester, 4-20 mA source, HART communicator, Loop check tester, to carry out instrument and control loop checks.
  • Ensured UPS (redundant) and non-UPS (utility) power supplies are available. Before charging any commissioning ICSS and field checks. Operators' workstations (OWS), Engineering workstation (EWS), HMI and Antivirus are ready with installed software as per system requirement, and the latest backup of FAT logic and graphics configuration is available.
  • Verified all equipment and instruments are mechanically completed before starting any commissioning activities. Oversaw installation of instrumentation and control systems, ensuring that all components are installed according to the design specifications.
  • Constantly accessed to Marshalling, power distribution, and Charm Cabinets and carried out related panel alarm tests and troubleshot process control system (PCS), process shutdown system (PSD), safety instrumented system (SIF), fire and gas (F&G) loop test, redundancy, graphic, logic, cause and effect, asset management, alarm rationalization, partial stroke testing, and HART multiplexer (master and slaves) systems to ensure they meet safety standards and function properly.
  • Carried out partial stroke tests on both the solenoid and positioner for the SIS shut-down valves, trended the reading, and attached it to the related inspection test record to approve the valve successfully performing its intended function.
  • Performed Safety Instrumented System-related field instrument inspections and commissioning to make sure the SIL is achieved according to the IEC61508 and IEC61511 standards with the allocated SIF.

  • SDC: Shah Deniz Compression Project, Shah Deniz Compression (SDC) is an electrically powered, normally unattended installation (eNUI). It is a compression platform with electrically driven compressors controlled remotely. The platform will be located approximately 3 km north-west of Shah Deniz Bravo (SDB) in circa 85 meters. The compression systems are sized to match the design capacities and terminal arrival pressures of Shah Deniz Alpha (SDA) and Shah Deniz Bravo (SDB). The facility will use hermetically sealed HOFIM compressors with variable speed drives (VSDs) to minimize compressor ancillary systems.   • SHAH DENIZ ALPHA & BRAVO Project / COP Project, Shah Deniz Stage 2, or Full Field Development (FFD), is a giant project that will add a further 16 billion cubic meters per year (bcma) of gas production to the approximately 10 bcma produced by Shah Deniz Stage 1. The Chirag Oil Project (COP) is a $6 billion further development plan for ACG. Over $4 billion of the total project capital expenditure has been used in the construction of facilities and the pre-drill programme, and the balance of the sum will be spent on the platform development well drilling during the production period.   • STEP Sangachal Expansion Project, Located 55 km south of Baku, the Sangachal terminal is a vital link in Azerbaijan's oil and gas industry.
