SBT Certified

SBT offers various benefits for both the learner, parents, and the instructor. The SBT certification process spans across 6 month. This included selecting 1+ client(s) to teach, weekly cohorts, weekly overlaps with the overseeing clinician, and the collaboration with parents. SBT emphasizes communication and prioritizes the needs of the client by removing or lessening the demands presented based on the precursors observed. Through SBT, I have observed clients increase in their independent communication, increase their tolerance for denied access and demands presented, and a decrease in the intensity or frequency of common challenging behaviors.
