Summary

Driven by a profound commitment to advancing the field of neuro-oncology and neurobiology, I am embarking on a journey towards medical school and my ultimate goal of becoming a physician-scientist. My passion for this field was ignited by personal experiences with my grandfather's battle with glioblastoma and my grandmother's current struggle with Alzheimer's disease. These encounters exposed me to the devastating impact of neurological diseases and instilled in me a deep-seated desire to understand disease mechanisms and develop effective therapeutics. Rooted in this aspiration, I aim to become a neurosurgeon and contribute to the development of innovative treatments for brain tumors and other neurological conditions. By engaging in research and clinical work, I will advance the fight against neurological diseases, honor my grandparents, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families.
