Served as the lead officer in Operation Fly on the Wall, one of the largest methamphetamine cases in local history. Collaborated with a multi-agency team to conduct surveillance, execute multiple search warrants, and coordinate confidential informant buys. The investigation resulted in over 100 indictments, 22 arrests, and the seizure of 1.75 pounds of methamphetamine, 22 firearms, and $27,510 in cash. This case marked a milestone in dismantling a major drug trafficking network in the region's.
Was recognized with the Keep Hope Alive Award for his frontline efforts in combating the opioid crisis through both direct intervention and proactive community engagement. On multiple occasions, Sgt. Reeves personally administered Naloxone (Narcan) to save the lives of several juveniles experiencing suspected fentanyl overdoses—demonstrating composure, compassion, and a relentless commitment to preserving life under pressure.
Beyond the badge, Sgt. Reeves became a regional leader in opioid response education. He developed and led Narcan training courses for officers, community members, and families, ensuring more lives could be saved by placing tools and knowledge in the hands of the public. He also spearheaded community fentanyl awareness classes, fostering trust between law enforcement and the people they serve by addressing one of the most pressing local threats with transparency and empathy.
