• Following the comparative analysis of the local economic sectors that I and our team carried out with the partners, the Ministry was able to submit the government with an action plan and recommendations for eliminating the shortcomings and giving new impetus to the development of these sectors
• By analyzing the external sector in more detail, we have identified the reasons that reduce the country's export potential and negatively affect the current account balance. Thus, on the eve of the pandemic, these analyses could lead to the elimination of unexpected strict controls by state institutions on exporting companies;
• By producing often comprehensive reports on expected global challenges, progress and risks from 2019, we have been able to inform and raise awareness both within the Ministry and in other government organisations, enabling them to take precautions in the event of uncertainty or to exploit likely opportunities to gain economic advantage. Prior to the pandemic, I conducted a study on the global issues to be expected. Then a detailed report was prepared by me, which showed the probable decrease in oil consumption in 2020, which eventually led to serious discussions within the government and became as one of the reasons to decrease the average oil price in the state budget revenues.
