As a Finishing Operator , my responsibilities are to ensure product meets customers expectations by following specifications provided by customers. Operating machines to ensure efficient and quality output. Do quality checks , detect and report defective materials. Handling materials including chemicals such as paint , glue for repairing product and cleaning materials , also ensuring proper storage and disposal. Maintaining a clean and safe work area , following safety procedures and wearing the proper PPE. Accurately completing work documents and entering correct data in the computer for product traceability . Moving the material by driving a forklift and making sure to scan it to its new location. By being a Lead I provide guidance and directions to a group of operators by assigning task , monitoring work progress and making sure that my team are following procedures and meeting expectations. Help new operator learn their roles by training them and have them read and follow the proper work instructions. Relaying information between management and the team and help resolve minor issues. Working to ensure our team is productive and achieving our goals by getting our products out and complete for timely customer delivery. I also have experience with expanding aluminum product and pressing ,shearing and expanding non metallic material within the company.
