I provide compassionate, short-term relief for primary caregivers by offering dependable and attentive support to individuals with physical, mental, or developmental needs. My role focused on ensuring safety, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities, allowing families peace of mind while taking necessary breaks from caregiving duties. Since September of 2023 and currently I’ve been working for a girl named Ari Taylor, she has cerebral palsy and has become one of my very best friends. I’ve learned to understand her when she talks, and I’ve become very close with her family too. I’ve also worked around teenagers with Down syndrome! I love what I do, and I’ve always had a special love for those with physical and mental challenges.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment. In an orthodontic practice, the technician is responsible for sterilizing instruments and equipment, preparing treatment rooms, and supporting the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and infection control.

• Clean, sterilize, and organize orthodontic instruments and tools according to OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Maintain sterilization logs and ensure proper functioning of sterilization equipment.
• Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms between patients.
• Monitor inventory of sterilization supplies and restock as needed.
• Handle and dispose of biohazardous waste safely and according to regulations.
• Assist clinical staff with setup for procedures requiring specific sterile tools.
