Patient Centered Care & Assessment: Clinical Skills
- Vital signs: temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, oxygen saturation.
- Patient hygiene and ADL assistance: bathing, grooming, oral care, toileting support, linen changes.
- Mobility and safety: positioning, repositioning, ambulation assistance, transfer support, fall prevention awareness.
- Supported documentation through intake/output tracking, patient observations, and timely reporting of changes to nursing staff.
- Foley catheter skill completion and finger-stick skill completion
- Infection prevention and privacy: PPE use, HIPAA, clean and safe patient environment
- Facilitated therapeutic communication with patients and families to promote understanding and support during care.
- Collaborated with instructors, peers, and nursing staff to enhance patient care and foster a supportive learning environment.
- Cultural sensitivity and bilingual communication in English and Spanish.
