Perform vital sign assessment and documentation, assists nursing staff with delegated tasks, and ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting. Perform hourly rounds of each patient's status, needs, and preferences. Manage patient care through closely monitoring input and output, fluid and dietary restrictions, vital signs, and blood glucose levels.
Perform vital sign assessment and documentation, conduct 12 lead EKG, specimen collection, telemetry monitoring, complete bladder scans, assist with orthopedic devices, wound care, foley bag maintenance, and all other delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Provide care to patients throughout lifespan with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and culture. Deliver high-quality care to patients in hospital unit. Assist nursing staff with completing daily rounds, documenting vital signs and answering calls. Respond to patient requests for supplies and personal comfort items; such as extra toiletries, water cups, or blankets.
Triage patient assessments, perform vital signs and documentation, administer medication via PO, IM or topical, perform wound care, completion of 12 EKGs, application of orthopedic devices and splints, eye/ear irrigations, suture/staple removal, and complete all other delegated tasks under the supervision of an MD, PA, or NP.
