My second hiking trip was also organized by my University on the 29th of May. This time we went to Gobustan to see their famous mud volcanoes. The teacher explained the process of mud volcanoes, we also collected some fossils on our way.
The teachers helped us to identify the fossils an wrote a report.
My university conducted a hiking trip to the colourful mountains of Khizi, to search for 200 million years old fossils. The participants sketched slopes and constructed stratigraphic sections.
With the help of the coordinators, our university teachers, we managed to identify the fossils in the university. After gathering all the useful information, we wrote a short report about the trip.
