Work History

Level 2 Lead / Level 2 Trainer - Machine Operator

Mueller Inc.
Buckeye, AZ
08.2022 - 01.2026
  • Created comprehensive training resources aimed at improving employee engagement during onboarding.
  • Conducted interactive workshops focused on skill development and effective knowledge retention strategies for team members.
  • Assessed training effectiveness by analyzing participant feedback and performance assessments.
  • Managed continuous training programs to support employee development and promote organizational success.
  • Was hired through Kelly Services as a temp to hire employee on 08/25/2022
  • I was hired on with Mueller Inc. on 11/25/2022 and was immediately sent to Ballinger, Tx to train as a level 1 Machine operator.
  • As a machine operator I was responsible for running and maintaining a 2000 plus Bradbury VTR Rollformer machine.
  • My responsibilities as a machine operator were many. The Bradbury VTR Rollformer is roughly 3 houses long and was maintained by 3 control panels that required constant, non-stop controlling and monitoring with close and precise supervision.
  • This VTR Rollformer forms 5 different profiles for the construction of metal buildings. C bars, Z bars, channels, eave struts and base angles.
  • These profiles consisted of different metal coil widths and different gauges. (thickness)
  • Weight of these coils ranged from 3,000 lbs. to 15,000 lbs. Gauges/thickness ranged from 12g, 14g and 16g. 12g being the thickest.
  • Coils consisted of 13 different widths. 22.93, 20.93, 19.12, 17.93, 16.93, 15.93, 13.93, 11.93, 10.75, 9.93, 8.93 7.75, and 5.93 inches wide.
  • I used with strategic precision a 10 ton crane to handle and maneuver these coils for inventory and mainly to load and unload on a 7 ton capacity 4 legged turnstile to load on to and off an uncoiler.
  • Control panel 1 on the front end I used to control the turnstile, uncoiler and the camber. The camber had to be perfectly adjusted prior to inserting into the the heavy duty hole puncher/press to avoid material diving downward causing damage to the material into the press or into the conveyor.
  • All 3 control panels controlled running and stopping entire machineand resuming machine. Each control panel also had different functions. Control panel 2 controlled the hole puncher/press. It also controlled the precise measurements for the precise location of the hole punches which I mastered with precise settings.
  • Control panel 3 controlled the VTR Rollformer. This control panel was the most vital panel being that it formed the final product. This panel is where I mastered the art of manual settings to adjust and set each profile to the required perfect measurements to avoid profit loss for the company due to inaccurate measurements.
  • Next duty was handstacking finished product neatly and balanced and hand banded to be staged or directly loaded onto tractor trailers for delivery to customers in-state and out of state.
  • With surgical precision I utilized seperate lifts for moving material: Yellow forklifts (2 different weight capacity lifts), Combilift (2 seperate weight capacity lifts), and Manitou lift (2 seperate weight capacity lifts)
  • I mastered the art of staging my bundles and material very coordinated and precise and well balanced due to lack of necessary space in the warehouse.
  • So as a level II lead and trainer it remained my duty to train my teammates in all areas of the QTR Purlin rollformer area in the warehouse.
  • I also had my own eclipse computer system in my area that allowed me to monitor all the orders that needed to e completed. The orders in eclipse is very complex being that there are numerous orders for numerous different customers being delivered to numerous different locations. The eclipse system allowed me to schedule orders to run in my area with precise accuracy and extreme time efficiency due to strict deadlines that had to be met.
  • So in all, my duties as a level II Operator and Trainer, I was tasked and fulfilled my job at a very high level with accuracy, speed and efficiency day in and day out to reach our goals.
  • I mastered with accuracy, speed and promptness all duties mentioned above and more.
  • I single-handedly trained all my teammates to safely and with accuracy use the 10 ton capacity crane to handle material. I single-handedly trained my teammates how to run and maintain the entire machine from the front end using the crane to load and unload coils onto the turnstile, using the cart to load onto the uncoiler, loading the material into the camber, jogging the material into the press hole puncher, adjusting the settings in the computer for accurate hole punch measurements, adjusting the profile settings on the rollformer control panel in the computer for accurate forming, handstacking material and banding the bundles ready to be stage in organized fashion using the different lifts.
  • I single-handedly trained my teammates how to safely and improve greatly how to use and run the lifts as well as train them how to stage the very large bundled material in our warehouse.
  • I believe and my teammates believe that I was a master of my craft in my position because it entailed so many responsibilities that required extreme safety and caution. And we never had any safety concerning incidents.
