I worked at the Peru Hy-Vee grocery store for six years. During my time there I worked my way up to an assistant manager and did that for four of the six years. As an assistant managers my job had a range of responsibilities including:

• Supervised and led numerous employees at one time and in multiple departments.
• Offered hands-on assistance to customers, assessed needs, and helped lead a positive customer experience.
• Trained new employees and management.
• Monitored daily operations and addressed issues promptly to maintain service quality standards.
• Developed strong working relationships with staff and helped create a positive work environment.
• Handled and monitored cash transactions and intake.
