Daniel Sauceda

Phoenix

Summary

Dynamic music director with 15 years of experience in Catholic Liturgy. With Spanish as his first language, Daniel has greatly enhanced both the musical and Liturgical experience of Spanish Masses at SS Simon and Jude Cathedral, achieving the standard of excellence that is often only asked for in English Masses. The ability to work in many environments has allowed Daniel to make every Mass of great quality regardless of language, setting, or resources. Daniel is able to run choir rehearsals completely in Spanish, but also inserts some English for those who struggle or don't quite understand Spanish but wish to participate in the Spanish choir. Daniel believes in the power of Liturgy and what it can inspire in each person that walks through a Catholic Church's doors. Daniel is passionate about Liturgy as a whole and never sees the music as a stand-alone component but rather as a part of the whole. Daniel is a Liturgical musician in every sense of the world, equipped for anything and everything, with skills that are rarely asked of Music Directors but that he can still provide. Daniel will always go above and beyond for the Liturgy in the way Christ Cathedral deserves.
