As a Ramp trainer I proficiently trained over 100 Ramp new hires how to be an overall asset to the company in Ramp duties and job roles.
As a Ramp Manager I was the bag manager for the whole operation. Making sure all locals were dropped within 20 min drop time on all arrivals. Ensuring all connecting bags made their connections to all other regional and American Mainline gates. If bag runners did not have a current flight then they were used on standby as hot runners for hot bags with tight connections. All while siting in the American Airlines Ramp operation command center with majority American Airlines managers, communicating with them to ensure all bags were accounted for. I also made it my project to improve the negative and toxic relationship between American Mainline and Piedmont regional employees. At the end of the day, as a manager, our employees are our number one customer.
