- I worked for Fred Meyer from 1986 to 2017 . I retired with 31 years at 47. Two days later I got on with Empire Foods in Portland Oregon. Transferred to Arizona and was calling on the Fys stores for three weeks. My role was working for all of our lines of product /manufactures. I was able to get into the systems and make signs and tags and make sure displays were compliant.i worked with employees and managers to fill out of sticks, build displays and product ordered into the store where needed.
