Construction of new transmission, distribution and secondary electrical systems ranging in voltages up to 500 kv transmission voltages down to 120/240 vt residential and commercial systems.

Transmission and distribution systems construction and maintenance projects consists generally of reading construction overview plans and prints laying out project plotting and environmental impact setback and restrictions. communicating with state, federal and local contacts insuring safety and project requirements are met. All the while insuring that team and subcontractor project and field requirements are met and maintained. ie. materials, and all equipment needed for project completion are on hand when needed. insuring that the logistics are correctly communicated to all necessary vendors and service suppliers.

General maintenance of distribution systems in the yuma area. Basic single pole distribution y and single phase line construction. As well as basic secondary service installations. transformer mounting and single phase and 3 phase secondary service wire installation to service panels and meter panels. The one interesting year was the year i was filling in as the coordinator. This position allowed me to gain significant experience with project management coordinating multiple projects continually. from the point of the customers initial contact for a request to the field inspections at project completion. i would contact customers at the designers request to help identify specific project requirements needed to meet the customers request. i would also do initial site inspections in coordination with the designers to help develop the most efficient project plan possible. After project designs were approved i would order all materials, schedule blue stake, and all necessary subcontractors and line crew to work the project. I would do project inspections through out the entire project schedule to completion and customer sign off. All of this with up to 20 projects overlapping at one time.

Pre wired, installed and maintained low voltage systems for residential, commercial and industrial applications. residential systems included home theatre, intercom, central vacuum, alarm and cctv systems, as well as whole house interactive systems. commercial and industrial applications consisted of intercom, alarm and phone systems but mostly cctv.
