Job Description
Select and gather products for customers' online orders. Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pickup. Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to online shopping again.
Responsibilities
- Work to meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, good variety, fresh products, and a clean environment.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
- Start and finish picking items for customers’ online orders.
- Make sure all items you pick are high quality and fresh.
- Pick up each customer’s order from the staging areas, check that it’s correct, and load it into their car.
- Process orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Follow company policies to choose substitutes if items are out of stock.
- Let customers know about any substitutions or changes to their order when they pick it up.
- Keep the staging area and equipment clean and organized to help create a good work environment.
- Complete all required opening and closing tasks.
- Work well with others in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Be able to follow directions and ask for help when needed.
