Student leader with proven experience in mentoring and community engagement through roles in DCE Girls' Basketball Booster Club and 50 Miles One Purpose. Skilled in communication and problem-solving, effectively supporting the 8th-grade girls' travel basketball team. Focused on fostering a positive environment for young female athletes, promoting their development and success. Committed to ongoing leadership growth through further education.
I have volunteered for numerous organizations, including 50 Miles One Purpose, WGSPR, DCE Girls Basketball Booster Club, and volunteered as an assistant coach for the eighth-grade girls' travel basketball team. I helped out with organizing and setting up for fundraisers and tournaments, along with teaching my players the fundamentals and skills needed to be a good player and teammate.
This award is presented to an individual who actively supports their community and has a profoundly positive impact on those around them. I was the first DC Everest student to be awarded this honor for my hard work and dedication to the DCE Girls Basketball Booster Club and the Eighth Grade Travel Team. I spent my nights after school helping coach, along with helping out during tournaments on the weekends. I taught my players valuable lessons in Basketball and how each of them can make a positive impact on those around them.
