As a member of a family of doctors, I was sure that I would be a part of our family dynasty.
I have tried to immerse myself in my future profession as much as possible since my third year at university. I've got my nursing certificate and started working as a nurse to get to know the system better. In order to see the system from the inside and to familiarise myself with the atmosphere of my future profession, I practically always combined my time at university with my time at work. Whenever possible, I used to accompany the doctors on their rounds and got to see how they took a medical history, carried out a physical examination and ordered further tests to confirm a diagnosis. After graduating as a doctor, I worked with a general practitioner. This gave me more specialized experience in my field. I developed my communication skills and learned to make decisions and take responsibility for my patients.
As well as helping people, my job is a source of personal growth for me every day. Through everyday practice I started to make decisions more quickly in difficult situations, adapt more easily and find a common language with different people. I want to continue my adventure and become a professional.
