As a cashier, my jobs and responsibilities included greeting and checking/taking guests orders in person and over the phone, accurately boxing and bagging all components to an order, and ensuring all orders went out on time. As a server/bartender, I greet and treat guests with warmth and hospitality while also aiding them in a great food experience by suggesting alcohol and appetizers to enhance their meal. I handle multiple tables and/or the bar while also making sure all food comes out timely, correctly and to the guests liking. As an HSM, my job responsibilities included opening the restaurant for the day, doing daily inventory, putting Sysco delivery orders away, and helping the kitchen prep for the shift. I handled any customer complaints effectively with a solution that both pleased the customer and made up for any past poor experience. On top of all of these job positions, I am also a trainer in all front of house positions. As a trainer I make sure that I welcome all new team members while also teaching them all our SOP's and menu thoroughly, and help them with any questions or struggles they might have during and after their training period.
I assisted guests in the lobby and the drive-thru, taking their order and getting their drink, bagging up their order and sending them out all within our expected time frame. I was also in charge of ensuring a clean lobby, doing rounds to wipe off and disinfect all dirty tables, clean and wipe down the soda machine, stock any cups or paper goods that were low, and keep it clean to not only my, but the company's, standards.
