Project: ABSHERON EPS

• Ensured the correct management, maintenance and efficiency of the assigned Construction vessels and relevant equipment, in coordination with the various Vessel Operation Managers, by definition and monitoring of relevant investment/maintenance budgets and activities, proper certifications and authorizations required for each vessel and equipment assigned
• Maintenance and upgrade of the Engineering and Construction vessels
• Verified the proper technical management of long lease vessels in the area, by proper coordination with the Owner and with the involved operational functions
• Developed proposals for investments and relevant draft of budgets for the assigned vessels
• Coordinated the technical activities, contributing in this way to the Management
• Contributed to the performance of vessel upgrading and extraordinary maintenance projects to reach agreed targets in terms of time, cost, technical, quality and safety suitability, the growth of the technical know-how in the assigned area

Project: ABSHERON EPS; Shah Deniz Phase 2 (SD2)

• My mission was to ensure specialized technical support for development and maintenance of offshore fleet vessels and equipment.
• Supported on Operations, Commercial and all Assets departments to identify technical needs for vessels and equipment
• Provided Technical support related to fleet, modification and improvement including technical follow up and management during design and construction phase
• Defined execution plans to develop new capabilities and innovative solutions for new builds and equipment

Project: CHIRAG OIL PROJECT (COP)

As an Upgrades Engineer I was responsible for ensuring that refurbishment, maintenance, and upgrade of the marine vessels is performed safely, on time and to the standard to allow the offshore execution of the Shah Deniz 2 project.

• Ensured that Contractor provides correct engineered solutions for the required refurbishment, maintenance and upgrades
• Monitored Contractor’s activities during Scope of Work generation and CTR development, contractor performance and ensured all contractual requirements are complied with
• Ensured that all relevant requirements are complied with in terms of BP procedures and practices, Classification Society and State Marine Administration requirements
• Participated in overall bid evaluation process for contract award
• Evaluated performance of contractor and sub-contractors. Provided constructive feedback and intervention as require
• Reviewed the contractors engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements

Project: CHIRAG OIL PROJECT (COP)

• Maintained awareness and promoted project goals in respect of HSE, Budget, Schedule, and Technical Integrity.
• Worked with the design groups (Jackets, Topsides & Pipelines), operations and contractors PMT to ensure Project requirements are met and delivered on time.
• Supported the interfaces between Marine Warranty Surveyor, Jacket Deck and Pipelines contractor and sub-contractors

Project: CHIRAG OIL PROJECT (COP)

• I worked within the Az CDO Major Projects Vessel Upgrade Team to achieve Major Projects delivery promises for West Chirag Oil Field development.
• Managed contractors to achieve HSE targets leading to a safe and efficient execution of work scopes
• Deputized for the Vessel Upgrades Manager
• Provided support to offshore operations during critical installation activities, commissioning periods, mobilization etc.
• Liaised with installation contractors site supervision team for technical, HSE, and progress matters
• Monitored contractors reporting and investigated any anomalies
• Reviewed and monitored cost activities to ensure deliverables are achieved, installation contractors’ technical proposals for refurbishment and upgrade programs to ensure they meet the requirements for offshore installation activities
