• Perform acute and chronic leukemia-lymphoma analysis on bone marrow, peripheral blood, tissues and body fluids via 10-color flow cytometer for diagnostic and monitoring purposes. Testing also includes Immunodeficiency, PNH and Sezary Syndrome panels as well as lymphocyte subset analysis. Results analyzed on BDFACS DIVA.
• Process specimens for WBC isolation to be analyzed. Create stained slides for pathologist review. Utilize patient history to create tailored panels for their specific diagnosis/ pathologies. Perform WBC count and cell viability count.
• Complete daily instrument calibration, operation, maintenance and repair as well as various administrative tasks such as specimen accessioning and ordering tests for physicians.
• Perform various administrative duties such as document preparation, data entry and answering client inquiries.

• Accurately document physician-patient interactions in real-time including but not limited to: History of Present Illness, Review of Systems, Physical Exam, ED Course and Medical Decision Making
• Transcribe dictated information from the provider into the medical record including patient lab results, radiographic interpretations, medications administered, critical care interventions and procedures performed
• Perform clerical tasks including answering ED phone, paging out specialty consults, call lab/radiology for progress of results and communicate with other hospital employees for superior patient care.
