A first responder to emergencies, CODES, and incidents requiring a security response to effectively resolve issues that arise. Patrol the facilities and grounds, investigating incidents including theft, vandalism, assaults, and other criminal activity, and providing routine escorts, patrols, and security in the behavioral health facility. I received additional training in firearms, defensive tactics, de-escalation strategies, application of restraints, and tactics, including team response to Active Shooter incidents, tactical clearing of rooms, down-officer rescue, ballistic shield, and medical skills.

• Undercover operations, high threat terminations, high value merchandise transfers, workplace violence interdiction, private investigations, immigration transports, corporate and VIP executive protection.

• Responsible for safely operating a haul truck to transport materials from loading areas to processing areas.

• Provided armed security at the Access Control Point and close boundary and permitted protection from dangers of sabotage, espionage, armed intrusion and other accidental or willful damage or destruction.

• Provide armed security while the wall is being built at the US and Mexico border for construction workers and equipment.

• Provide Armed Security for staff and clients for the State of Arizona at the Department of Economic Security.

• Investigate Internal and External Theft, investigate shortages, worked closely with Police and Detectives on stolen credit cards and fraud, monitored CCTV, trained Asset Protection Associates, and gave new hire orientation on Active Shooter Response.

• Maintain and dispose of all environmental waste
• First Responder, Ropes Rescue Team, and Fire Brigade.

• Patrolled interior and exterior of hospital, restrained combative patients, continuous monitoring of a person who is considered to be at risk of committing suicide, and monitored the Behavioral Health Unit.

• Observe and report and vehicle patrol on assigned apartment sites.
