Golf pro shop- Oversee daily golf course operations. Manage RV Park with 28 parking spots. Manage budget for the entire golf course. Coordinate all the tournaments and junior clinics at the golf course. Implemented new POS system and on-line reservation system that streamlined the pro shop books and added visibility to the golf course online. Started night golf the summer of 2012 and continue in 2013 to increase revenue. Recently cut $120,000 from budget to help reduce expenses this coming year. Saved $6,500 in expenditures the month of April 2013. Cross-trained all employees to provide flexibility in my workforce if the situation arises.
Golf course maintenance- Oversee course superintendent and maintenance staff. Implemented new watering schedule that saved millions of gallons of water and improved golf course turf health. Helped upgrade new computerized watering system for the back 9 of the golf course. Consulted with AgSource Laboratories too determine health of the greens and develop a plan to maintain optimal green health. Brought in new vendors for all our chemicals to help reduce expenses. Started a green sod farm to help with troubled spots on the greens. Implemented new mowing heights to help enhance the golf course.
Restaurant- Operate restaurant, bar and run banquet hall for numerous events. Coordinated catering, decorations, and security. Developed policies, procedures, menu and hired all staff.
