Dynamic and results-driven professional with extensive experience as a Dozer Operator at Cutting Edge Contractors. Proven expertise in deadline management and safety procedures, successfully training new employees and enhancing operational efficiency. Skilled in heavy equipment operation and committed to maintaining OSHA safety standards while achieving project goals.
Oversaw contaminated material removal. On Bute fire in Calaveras County Ca., insured production and safety protocols. Remained within an acceptable FEMA standard. Coordinated with Cal Recycle and handled right of entry permitting with private property owners. While overseeing more than 100 debris removal crews.
Finished multiple Civil projects within the Las Vegas area. From Freeway grading to Trapezoid Flood Control projects, grading for a waste slab, in order to pour a deck on earth rather than False Work.
I cut out a 94' deep silt pond for this contractors sister company Redi-Mix at their North 95 location.
This work was done with a 10T that I operated and a string of 627 scrapers.
When bridges were built on a Waste Slab I would run a D-9 or D-10 and work with a couple of 980 loaders to cut the plug out, In order to make grade in the Travel-way.
Throughout working for this Contractor I have spent a large amount of time on a Dozer, Excavator, and Blade.
I am Good at moving large qualities of material fast. By setting the cut up, to work smarter, not harder, when at all possible.
This contractor also did a lot of Precast Drainage Box work. Which would entail Dozer grading of a Weep Rock section, under the box its self. I would build this grade with a D-5 size Dozer.
I worked for Road & Highway builders as a Dozer Operator. Pushing material to feed the crusher for Roadbed-Mod operations.
Fisher Industries was contracted to crush the material. They at that time, only supplied the Crusher and its crew. Not the support equipment or manpower required to feed the Crusher.
I have vast knowledge of Open Pit Operations and the hustle it takes to keep a Big Plant Fed while required to Long Push Material with a single dozer feeding the plant.
This Contractor also liked the Trapezoid Flood Control Work in Las Vegas. I was running a job they had off Durango Drive. I spent much time on a Komatsu 475, Hitachi 1100 and a 14-H Blade. We moved all the material on this project with a string of 777 Rock Trucks.
The Company at this time was just starting out. So adequate help was not an option. I ran the job and every machine on this job except the Rock Trucks. We managed to complete on time.
Operated a 9-L, and 10-N At their pit in Hurricane Ut.
Duties required: Pushing more tons of material than I can count to keep Crusher and Wash Plant fed. It was tough material with lots of Lava Rock. This Contractor saw no value in Blasting he was more a fan of wearing multiple Ripper Teeth out per day. I have worked every angle of Mass Yardage and willing to do my best in any employment situation.
I did gained a lot Pit experience at this point in my career.
If my Dozer were down or being Serviced I would fill in on a 980 loader feeding the Wash-Plant or loading trucks.
