Willing to attempt to resolve issues with a strong work ethic and to be able to communicate with others to help resolve their issues as quickly and as efficiently as I can. Using previously gained skills will be able to adapt to whatever work space I'm thrown into
Me and my friends, in the winter of 2024, had started doing lawn care jobs here in snowflake. We attempted to manage it as though it was a real business except without establishing it as an LLC. We were able to gain traction in the summer of 2024 and found ourselves with lots of work in and out of snowflake.
After my friend who had started the whole thing had to move, he passed the leadership to me. With this leadership I was able to gain many skills including:
- Clear and concise communication
- Good work ethics
- negotiation and compromise
- How to be in a simple management position
- Making difficult decisions financially
I was often tasked with:
- helping the students resolve coding issues
- helping with resolving minor tech issues. This included, fixing a printer and driver issues among other things
During my entire sophomore year my parents decided that we were going to build our own home. I was tasked with many parts of the process whilst putting in many work hours.
On average during the summer i would work 40-50 hours. Even during the school year, I averaged about 20 hours a week working on this home alongside finding time in order to finish schoolwork and participate in extracurricular activities.
I was able to gain skills from the building, like:
- wiring high voltage electrical
- wiring low voltage electrical
- putting siding on the house
- roofing the home
- leveling and compacting dirt for a foundation
- installing windows
- and much more
