Main responsibilities

- Direct and manage all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
- Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party logistics providers to negotiate contracts, ensure compliance, and optimize service levels and costs
- Evaluate vendor performance and take corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards
- Streamline the supply chain by analyzing and optimizing transportation routes, warehouse layout, and inventory levels to meet customer demands efficiently
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Monitor on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory turnover, and other relevant metrics to ensure operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and international regulations related to logistics, transportation, and supply chain management
- Develop and manage the logistics budget, monitoring expenses, analyzing variances, and implementing cost-saving initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the logistics operations to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Implement best practices and industry standards to continuously improve logistics processes and procedures

• Guide, mentor, and manage a team of junior sales representatives, setting sales targets, performance metrics, and development goals to build a high-performing sales team.
• Work closely with the Operations, Carrier Sales, Billing, Accounting, Departments to ensure cohesive efforts across the company.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring their freight needs are met with the highest level of service

• Coordinate timely and accurate shipments
• Ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents
• Identify and fix shipping errors
• Prepare bills and invoices
• Oversee production timelines
• Receive orders and add to inventory

• Define the mode of transport and pass shipping instructions to freight forwarders.
• Getting in touch with agents, vendors,
• Preparing and providing relevant documents for the import and export process.
• Management liaison with suppliers and origin stations.
• Provide shipment information to customers (daily update).
• Arranged collection of shipments (airfreight and road/sea freight).
• Preparing all relevant paperwork required.
