Maintain adequate stock of drilling fluid products on rig Site
Maintain fluid parameters as per mud program through effective chemical application in consultation with customer designated fluids supervisor
Formualte and implement the following programs: Mud mixing and testing, Hydraulics, Completion, Packer Fluid, Wellbore Clean Up.
Preparation of daily Mud for each well along with detailed technical and cost evaluation.
Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly mud chemicals Inventory Reports.
Preparation of Rig site weekly and Monthly Mud Lab Chemicals and Equipment Inventory
Completing the drilling fluid report and records on actual data, conduct performance analysis and highlight problems immediately after each job.
Monitoring rig site for mud materials stock level and ensuring maintaining the required mud materials stock to secure wellsite drilling operations.
Co-ordinate with the Drilling Supervisor and well site Drilling Engineer in ordering of mud chemicals and maintaining adequate stock inventory enough to cover the operations demand.
Taking part in risk assessments relevant to drilling fluids.
Contribute to safety meetings onsite, giving presentations about the fluids and chemicals being used
Conduct toolbox and pre-tour meeting on chemicals safety.
Reporting any hazard , minor/major accident or near miss to QHSE
Ensure Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are up to date and easy locate.
Afford leadership to the second DFE, rig site mixing and DF products handling crew.
Advising rig personnel in mixing area to use appropriate PPE.
Ensuring all mud testing ( API recommended practice B1&B2) activities are carried out in a safe and responsible manner.
Ensuring all hazardous testing chemicals are correctly labeled, safely stored.
Attend in Drilling Contractor safety meetings and advise on all HSE matters handled.
Supervise the treatment&PH neutralization for cement contaminated mud.
Immediately report any concerns relating to any change in mud parameters.
Performed mud related activities on Caspian Sea which oil and gas fields (Azeri,Chirag and Gunashli) operated by BP and SOCAR (NOC)
The drilled production and injection wells depth are 4500-5500MD, 3000-3500TVD, inclination 60-90 deg and maximum bottom hole temperature around 70-90 degree Celsius.
While sidetracking from parent hole it is used special formulated Enviromul LTOBM (Escaid 110 based) with concentrated LCM (stress cage) to minimize partial and total losses while drilling. The main challenges while drilling are maintaining ECD and mud losses while drilling due to narrow mud window.
Measure the fuel pits volume, maintain the fuel volume in pits as per company procedure. Responsible for receiving the fuel to fuel filling station. Originate the volume tracker report and calculate the pits volume. Perform weekly calibration on pits level sensors to get accurate data.
