• Handle Derivatives and Capital Market transactions and various other activates involved in completion of the trade cycle
• Settlements, clearance and reconciliations for Derivatives products

• MIS, Controls and Reporting
• Preparing financial data like Income Statement, Turnover Reports, Margin Reconciliation, GL accounting
• Middle Office functions and assessing daily transactions for accuracy of data and information
• Performing various tasks along with preparation of KPI and SLA reports
• Weekly and Monthly Management dashboards
• Dealing with internal and external stakeholders to resolve trade breaks and ensuring smooth flow of trade transactions

• Issuance and cancellation of Guarantees.
• Screening Guarantee related documents (Application, Issuance, Amendment Letter, Customer Letters).
• Analyzing Trade Summary Sheet, Purpose of the Guarantee, Customers LOB, Account limits.
• Review system generated alerts against customer data, investigate for potential money laundering/terrorist financing/sanctions risks, collect documentary proof, build/maintain case files for transactions and customers deemed suspicious.
• Scrutinizing the Applicants, Beneficiaries, Purpose of Guarantee against Restricted/Prohibited and Sanctioned list (High Risk, Dual use) using World Check Reports. Claiming guarantee commissions via swift messages like MT799. Transfer of commission via MT202 to other banks. Debiting other bank's account with HSBC to collect commission – NOSTRO

Derivatives and FX Trade Confirmations

• Drafting & confirmation of FX Options & NDF long form confirmations within regulatory deadlines.
• Handling client specific requests like bulk drafting of trade confirmations.
• Forwarding confirmation requests to counterparties which includes G16 banks and tier two banks spread across the world for FX option deals.
• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports for clients and senior management reporting.
• Guaranteed quality and efficiency in the flow of process in adherence with regulatory laws & agreed SLAs.
• Data Enrichment/Validation and Trade Confirmation of Equity Products and meeting FED target T+1 deadline.
• Enrichment of agreed trade parameters which helps in drafting documents sent for confirmations.
• Working for the structured finance arm that deals with wide range of equity derivatives products.
• Accessing the original trade documents from the internal applications and identifying the key agreed parameters.
• Liaising with the confirmations team of the stakeholders in case of discrepancies and getting them resolved.
• Effectively managing the data used for internal reference by the stakeholders and ensuring timely availability of the data to the stakeholders as per TAT.
• Publish periodic metrics that are accessible in the internal environment to track process health and make informed decisions.
• Ensuring negligible operational errors resulting in ~99.8% accuracy.

• Strategic planning, full P&L, cost savings and acquisition analysis.
• Analyzing various projects and budgets.
• Overviewing company budgets, ensuring expenditure was within the budget allocated.
• Monitoring and forecasting market and sales trends.
• Conducting analysis by focusing on the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
• Market research related to various products in the line of business.
• Devising and evaluating methods for collecting Data (Surveys, Questionnaires, Opinion Polls).
• Interpret the data collected and organize this information into statistical tables and reports.
• Evaluating company’s operating and financial performance.
• Comparing financial ratios with other companies, and against the company's own historical performance.

• Handling collateral inspection activity for the corporate and commercial clients, and their renewals.
• Maintenance of interest rates and slab amount maintenances.
• Account linkages and de-linkages, No Debit status for the commercial clients.
• BASEL II reporting for Commercial, Corporate and GSG obligors.
• (Credit Rating).
• Preparing daily, weekly and fortnightly account reports for corporate and commercial clients.
