Motivated and empathetic nursing student with a strong dedication to patient care, and an uplifting attitude. Known as the "Ray of Sunshine" by peers and mentors for being a warm, optimistic, and enthusiastic presence in every situation. Utilizes nurse tutoring job to benefit future patient education and explanation of procedures and anatomy. Very eager to learn, perfect skills, and grow as a student nurse. Seeking to contribute to a Transition to Practice program where I can learn one-on-one from a nurse preceptor, perfect foundational nursing skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow as a student to become a confident and competent new graduate nurse.

• Performed head-to-toe assessments, vital signs, and reached out to nurse when patient condition changed. Gained experience in medication administration through oral and injectable routes, foley catheter insertion, IV insertion, and expertise in patient communication.
