The Lead Preschool Teacher and Curriculum Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing a developmentally appropriate educational program for preschool-aged children, while also leading curriculum development across classrooms. This dual role includes fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, mentoring fellow teachers, and ensuring all curriculum aligns with early learning standards and the center's philosophy.

• Create and implement lesson plans that support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of preschoolers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
• Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and communicating with families.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children and families.
• Manage daily classroom routines and transitions with consistency and care.
• Design, evaluate, and adapt curriculum to meet developmental needs and learning goals.
• Support and mentor teaching staff in effective curriculum delivery and classroom management.
• Provide training, resources, and feedback to ensure consistent, high-quality instruction across classrooms.
• Stay current on early childhood education best practices and ensure curriculum aligns with licensing and state early learning guidelines.
• Collaborate with administration to plan professional development and support continuous program improvement.
