- From 2007-2022 I worked in the independent film business. I created, produced and/or consulted on over 40 films including the following major releases:
- BLACKOUT – Released October 2022 (Netflix)
- A wall-to-wall action thriller starring Josh Duhamel and Nick Nolte, premiered in October in Netflix. Developed the script and put together the financing for the film.
- STUCK - Released April 2019 (National Theatrical + Prime)
- A multi-award-winning musical feature film starring Giancarlo Esposito and Ashanti. Built the financial model and physically produced the film in New York City.
- JOHN WICK – Released October 2014 (International release via Lionsgate)
- One of the highest grossing independently financed film franchises of all time. Consulted and put together the financial structure of the equity portion of the film’s budget. Worked with the lending bank to creatively structure the financing.
- DRINKING BUDDIES – Released July 2013 (International release via Magnolia)
- Cult classic that has made over 20x the budget in revenue. Put together the financing and distribution for the film. Built the financial model for the financiers.
- SUNSET STRIP Released August 2012 (International release via Showtime + Netflix)
- One of the most decorated documentaries of the past decade. Created and physically produced the film that chronicles the 100-year history of the loudest street on the planet.
- Over the years I built over 15 financial models and business plans for film funds looking to raise between $10mil and $250mil for film financing.
- I worked with many of the top entertainment banks and film financing companies. Selling myself and my product was an everyday adventure in the film business.
