Performing registration and check in process, data entry activities,
• Obtaining patients signatures when needed as well as referrals
• Answering phones along with taking messages for and from patients/Dr’s/Etc. (in office ranging from 15 on a slow day up to 30 in an 8 hour period.)
Verify and confirm with every patient the day before a reminder call for their own appointment
• Updates demographic and insurance information for patients.
• Verify that patient’s insurance is accurate and up to date with Banner as well as the insurance companies themselves
• Regular front office duties involving faxing, getting mail, distributing mail, ordering supplies, if need be, counting money at the beginning and end of the day to make sure it is accurate.
