I am a dedicated worker who has specialized in problem-solving, management for time and classrooms, and has good teamwork with others. I am experienced in and out of the classroom and have used skills in those environments in daily parts of my life. I am motivated to get work done in a timely manner while also making sure it is efficient for those around me.
Every Saturday available, I serve as a Coach from 4:00-6:30 pm. For one hour, I am coaching 5th/6th girls then for the rest of time allotted, I am with 2 year olds/Walkers. Doing this volunteering helps you learn how to manage environments and helps the parents to be able to go to service with a break from their children. I also used to do the full time of serving in the preschool based classrooms, where you truly have that classroom environment and lesson plan.
During the time of August through May, every three weeks, I would teach four hours in a preschool classroom with two other assistants. During this time, I would make original lesson plans, come up with activities, and manage the overall classroom environment, while mimicking real parent communication. This tied into our Para Praxis course, where we specialized in Paraeducator and eventually became certified through being a preschool assistant.
