I have worked in a couple different fields that both have to do with customer service and require good critical thinking skills. I am hardworking and come from a family of immigrants and my father always instilled in me the importance of hard work and education. I have a big interest in law and how our law enforcement systems work here in the USA and am a major in Justice, political philosophy, and Law at NMSU. I am positive and outgoing, I am a big people person and love talking to and working with others. I graduated this May from Eastern Arizona College with an associate degree in political science and was also part of the democracy fellows on campus led by the Campus Vote Project. Through this program I got to see more of how our Justice system works on the federal and state level. I got to meet and speak with congressmen like Juan Ciscomani and AZ Supreme Court Justice Clint Bolick. It inspired me to want to go into law even more. I helped organize voting activities around campus and helped students know how they can register to vote. I also tabled and talked to students around campus about different political topics, and was a big advocate for cooperation and communication during my time at EAC.
I love to do a variety of things. All growing up I played a variety of sports in high school such as baseball, basketball, and football, and I continue playing for fun today. I also love music and like to write my own songs and poems. Another activity I like to do is read. I enjoy reading historical and political books, a few I read this last semester being the prince by Niccolo Machiavelli, and Historia Verdadera de La Conquista de La Nueva España by Bernal Cortes. I am also religiously active and love participating in shared faith service activities and worships between various Christian denominations.
