• Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, weight, height, oxygen saturation)

• Perform patient history assessments focused on cardiovascular symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, or palpitations.

• Perform and assist with EKG testing to evaluate heart rhythm and electrical activity.

• Medication Reconciliation: Update and review patient medications to ensure accuracy

• Answer phone calls, refill prescriptions, assist patients with inquiries and concerns.

• Ensure rooms are stocked with necessary supplies

• Assist with wound care post-procedures and monitor patients for complications.

• Ensure that patients understand their treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes prescribed by the cardiologist.

• Call patients to follow up on test results

• Prep patient charts for the next day to make sure all testing and information is in the chart prior to the provider seeing the patient.

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.

• Place orders for medical and office supplies when stock is low.
