SOCAR HAOR Modernization & Reconstruction Project

For phase I of the project: Responsible for the safe, efficient and optimal commissioning/startup of following units:
Sour Water Stripper-SWS | Sulphur Recovery Unit-SRU | LPG Storage | MTBE production | C4 Hydrogenation

• Communicated with other team members to enhance process and performance.
• Trained team on best practices to optimize production and improve quality.
• Supervised entire production process and prepared proper documentation for dispatch.
• Performed root cause analysis and implemented corrective actions.
• Responsible for operation and maintenance activities to ensure maximum efficiency in existing unit
• Providing operating procedures for safe operation

• Participating in Pre-commissioning/Commissioning and Start-up phases of the refinery
• Prepared subsection P&ID Diagrams and writing procedures of start-up, shutdown, and normal operation for above mentioned units
• Delivering trainings about unit operation, control narrative, equipment working principle, transmitters, pumps, PSV types and key interlock system.
• Made advancements in DCS screens to create control schemes easy to foll
• Reviewing commissioning procedures and marked-up P&IDs and coordinating activities such as Incinerator/Thermal & Claus reactors dry-out, amine degreasing, catalyst loading and etc.

Haydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Modernization and Revamp Project

• Provided technical assistance to production team when issues arose.
• Reviewed processes, identifying areas requiring improvement.
• Conducted root cause analysis to identify, prioritize and eliminate process losses.
• Participated in project reviews to enable ongoing status tracking and reporting.
• Developed documentation, diagrams, and specifications to meet project requirements and regulatory standards.

• To get acquainted with the principle of operation of the unit,
  regulations, process flow diagram in each of the ethylene polyethylene plants.
• Familiarity with the working principle and equipment of the unit in the field.
• Evaluated production activities and provided suggestions for quality improvements and cost control.
• Adhered to various Safety Management Protocol standards.
