Manage the front office of an elementary school with a student population of about 1,000 kids and over 100 staff members. Answer phones, customer service, both internal (including students and teachers) and external (parents). Take care of all of the ordering for the school, including obtaining quotes, purchase orders, and building relationships with vendors. Full registration of all students, give tours to families, all computer work including building classes in the system and generating reports. Help with duties daily, including supervising students at lunch and recess, and supervise classes when teachers are in meetings. Coordinate all events and all picture days on campus. Set up all field trips. Respond to emails all throughout the day. Manage the school’s communication platform. Coordinate all things for substitute teachers. Time clock manager and also process payroll bi-weekly for the staff. Place all work orders for the school (maintenance and technology) and follow up with all work orders to ensure they are completed. Work directly with the custodial team and have meetings twice a week to ensure everything is running smoothly, and also work directly with our police officers on campus (School Safety Officers).
Worked in a call center environment handling both inbound and outbound calls at a freight shipping company.
