This job requires me to greet customers as they walk in, ask them a series of different questions depending on the specifications of the sandwich to ensure correct preparation. As well as ringing them up and charging them. Now for the closing shift, I am in charge of closing down everything like the line and hot surfaces/appliances that had been on. As well as wiping everything down and keeping a count log of inventory. Mid closing shifts consist of me being in charge of bathroom and lobby cleaning, making sure the line has enough food and veggies stocked for the night, as well as pre-setup for openers the next day. I have also been trained for openings, which consists of me opening and setting up the store, bread and food prep, as well as temp logs and dot changing for expired foods. I also participate in other tasks outside of my job description when needed.
I worked weekend shifts in a department named Loops. My main task was being a selector, which meant that I had to take the merchandise that was being sent down my rack and put it into its designated store labeled box so that it can be shipped off to its store. I also would ticket, which is the task of putting the price sticker on the merchandise sent and then pushing it down the racks so that it can reach the selectors side. I, as well, clerked sometimes, which meant that I had to go around and assign assignments and close out assignments for my fellow associates, as well as assist them with any other problems or help they might need throughout the day.
I worked morning shifts, which meant that I had to unload and unbox all the merchandise sent to our store that morning. As well as ticket and display the merchandise around the store in its designated spot. Lastly, I either helped my associates with markdowns or covered the fitting room when needed.
I worked evening shifts, which meant that I was in charge of marking and checking the dates for the meats and other products in our store area. I also was in charge of preparing and serving the cold and hot foods made by me and my associates. As well as cleaning and participating in any other job tasks outside my job description.
I am extremely into art and creativity that comes with it. I plan to have some sort of career
