Accomplishments
I was a lead and mentor teacher for 2nd and 3rd grade level. I volunteered for People to People program as a teacher leader during the International Leadership Summit in Washington DC. I was one of the lead teachers for the Student Delegations for People to People to Europe. For four consecutive years, I was awarded a total of over $10,000 grants for my classrooms that includes school supplies and food supplements for my students. I volunteered for PEO. This is a women's organization that promote education for women here and abroad through grants and fundraising by our local chapter. I was twice a state delegate for our women's group.
