

I contributed to academic and creative programs through library management and coordination, early-childhood dance instruction, and school theater production. I strengthened leadership, communication, project-management, and creativity skills by cataloging 9000+ books and implementing new library systems, assisting ballet and Pilates classes for young dancers, and serving as costumer and choreographer for middle and high school productions.
As a dedicated volunteer in my school library, I led the creation and organization of the elementary and high school libraries. I collected and catalogued more than 9000 books, developed a streamlined organization and labeling system, and implemented a fully functional online checkout platform to improve accessibility for students and staff. This role required consistent collaboration with teachers, parent volunteers, and fellow students, as well as strong project management skills to coordinate meetings, plan workflows, and ensure the long-term sustainability of the new systems.
I contributed to multiple school theater productions by taking on key creative and logistical responsibilities. I costumed the high school musical, managing design, sourcing, fittings, and alterations. I also choreographed the middle school musical and several high school plays, creating age-appropriate movement, teaching choreography to casts of varying experience levels, and collaborating with directors to support each production's artistic vision. These roles required creativity, time management, problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively under production deadlines.
At my ballet studio, I served as a Teacher's Assistant for classes of young dancers ages 5-7, supporting instruction in both ballet and Pilates. I helped lead warm-ups, demonstrated technique, guided students through choreography, and assisted with classroom management to create a positive and focused learning environment. This position strengthened my communication skills, leadership abilities, and capacity to support students with varying learning styles.
