Fast Track Claims Adjuster

Assurance America/InsureMax
08.2022 - Current
  • Whilst in the Fast Track Adjuster position, I have advanced and developed my skills as a claims representative. Moving up in the claims world can be incredibly challenging. Each position holds much higher standards and requirements than the last, all whilst maintaining the same customer service skills. As a Fast Track Adjuster I am evaluating insurance claims to determine validity and asses potential liability. I am the point of contact from when the claim gets filed, to when the claim gets closed. I handle claims investigations, coverage reviews, documents, contacts, liability, emails, voicemails, rentals, incoming and outgoing calls, as well as other various assignments that arise throughout each day. I have been given additional tasks such as working Arbitration Claims, handling more complex claims for the team, and also more difficult customers. I also help the team when management has time off. I currently have a P&C License in Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas. I have enjoyed continuing to grow with the company and look forward to future endeavors.

Liability Claims Adjuster

Assurance America/InsureMax
05.2022 - 08.2022
  • As a Liability Claims adjuster you must be both a constructive worker and great at customer service. I believe I am diligent in achieving both. I handle Unrepresented Liability Property Damage claims, as well as single Bodily Injury exposure claims with minor injuries. I am able multi task the many challenges the claims world holds. As an adjuster I handle claims from the moment of assignment to completion of the claim. This includes but is not limited too; investigations, contacts, liability, coverage, statements, inspections, payments, letters, and many other of the normal daily tasks that arise. I am constantly building and growing my knowledge to succeed in the insurance industry. I also recently passed my Adjuster License Exam for the state of Texas and am pending completion of the application process.

Fast Track Claims Adjuster

Assurance America/InsureMax
10.2021 - 05.2022
  • Whilst working in the Fast Track Claims department, as an adjuster proves to have its challenges and rewards as anyone well knows in this industry. I take great pride in the work I do, and with the team I was working with. The claims were handled on a team setting, which helps build relationships, with not only fellow employees but with the vast variety of customers we have. I handle claims from start to finish in the Fast Track department. I do initial file reviews, clear coverage and liability, make sure all proper documents are sent, all contacts made, inspections set up and completed, payments made, voice mails, and emails returned, handle rentals, and some total loss claims, along with the daily tasks and diaries that need to be completed. In addition to my duties I am often helping teammates where I can and taking on additional tasks or duties that the supervisor may need help completing. I work incredibly hard and set incredibly high goals and standards for myself to which I tend to achieve.

Express Claims Adjuster

Kemper/Alliance United Insurance
01.2021 - 10.2021
  • As an auto claims adjuster for California, I had to take individual responsibility for every claim I received, and I did so very seriously and efficiently. I would process Unrepresented Comprehensive and Collision claims. The Collision claims I handled are for simple accidents such as two vehicles with only one party moving at the time of loss, or minor property damage involvement. Comprehensive claims are those such as vandalism, flood, fire, attempted theft, etc. While in this role I had exceeded many expectations in regard to the claim handling process. I have been recognized as Employee of the Month for the month of June 2020, most of my claims are aligned in inner company audits as well as national, I often have a higher pending claim load at any given time, I help mentor new hires on my team, and achieve high adherence on a regular basis. I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to start handling claims and have that individual trust with each party involved in my claims. I handled the entire claim process from start to finish; File reviews, verifying coverage, liability analysis, making all contacts, send all documents and payments, set up inspections, and closing out claim. I enjoy what I do and am good at what I do, which makes the future possibilities endless.

FNOL Representative

Kemper/Alliance United Insurance
02.2020 - 01.2021
  • While working for Kemper in the First Notice of Loss Department, I would intake and process both new auto and homeowners’ claims. As I was the first contact to possibly some of the callers’ worst day, I try to make them feel as safe and comfortable through the process as I can, with reassurance of a resolution. I take statements and detailed facts of loss from our callers, set up inspections for vehicles, and take various status calls throughout the day. I speak with a wide range of people from all over the country. Our insured, claimants, attorneys, agents, contractors, family members, etc.. I try to provide each caller with an individual perspective for each situation. Our callers are not a policy or claim number, but a piece of the Kemper family and should be treated as so. I have also done various other projects for our supervisors and directors. I have processed overflow for our Safelight claims(Glass), processed police reports into claims, provided assistance with huddles and team meetings, and also worked with one of our engineers in regard to the homeowners claim filing process. I am eager to continue my growth and knowledge to advance and develop, as I know it will be a life long career.
