i love gardening. It is so satisfying to cultivate a small seed or plant into a beautiful thriving plant that becomes part of my landscape or part of my meal! I love being able to share my bounty with my co-workers as well.

I also love working on renovation projects with my husband. We love creating new, beautiful functional pieces or rooms. Occasionally, we renovate entire houses!

Accomplishments

  • I was a co-host two years in a row ,after being on the committee, for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Knox County, IL after my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. The money we raised help fund the research towards the drug that helped save her life. Volunteering has always been important to me this one was by far the most impactful to my life.
