Preventative maintenance technician looking for a new opportunity. Have worked on a wide variety of HVAC/R equipment and have experience being in various different settings. From offices to clinics, to restaurants and warehouses. Most of my tasks was taking care of equipment but would occasionally be required to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment. Im a diligent and efficient worker ready and willing to learn.
As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, my daily tasks included swapping filters, washing coils, changing belts, and clearing out drain lines. Then i would take an in depth view of the unit by inspecting the unit for any burning or pitting on the electrical components, and make sure the fans did not have any cracks or balance issues. Then i would pull voltage and amp draws on the unit and make sure everything is up to manufacture specifications. Pressures and temperature splits would also be taken into account aswell. All issues would be noted down and troubleshooting would be required to get a more in depth view of the unit. Some equipment worked on would be package units, split systems, inverters, exhaust fans, evaporative coolers, water source heat pumps, makeup air units, reach in coolers and ice machines.
Daily tasks would include moving 50lb+ packages from pallet onto its corresponding pallet and neatly wrapping and scanning into the system. Later would move finished pallets and taking it to its corresponding trailer and scanning it into the system.
