n this role, I support the trade finance process behind global commodity transactions — making sure everything runs smoothly from a financial and documentation perspective. I work closely with traders, banks, and logistics teams to ensure deals are financed properly, paperwork is in order, and timelines are met. It’s a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and responsiveness really matter.

What I’ve achieved in my first 3 months:

• Helped speed up the process for issuing Letters of Credit, cutting the turnaround time by about 30% and helping deals move faster.
• Reduced documentation errors by tightening up our checks — which means fewer delays and smoother trade execution.
• Built strong working relationships with banking partners to make sure financing is secured quickly and accurately.
• Supported the rollout of a new internal tracker to keep better tabs on trade finance activity, improving visibility across teams.
• Made sure all transactions stay compliant with trade regulations and internal policies — staying sharp on UCP 600 and sanctions requirements.
