Hybrid position I hold as a non-union Tower Crane Operator and when business is slow Assistant Inspector, usually while waiting for the next crane or machine to be erected. 2021 to 2023 I was fulltime but Company needed my skills back in the seat. I have 10 years within this position, I do what the company asks of me.

Tower Crane Operating I have total of 8 years within Compass spanning across the Southwest and a few States out east, travel is a big part of staying busy with constant work. Working long hours comes with the territory but the trade has become second nature so the days go fast or slow depending on how the Jobsite flow and Riggers preform.

As an Assistant Field Inspector I would assist the 3rd party Inspectors or CraneTech Inspections on various Equipment the company rents as services in mainly hoisting operations.

Inspections range- Mechanical, Parts, Inventory, Machine blue print overview, Electrical, Structure points, tie-ins, etc.

Each job assigned is different with new layouts and sometimes different machine design. Safety guidelines are included in every start and end of Job to ensure high quality assurance within this sometimes dangerous industry.

Most Inspections where done in compliance with company standard data capture, from paper checklists to online or Phone documentation, very keen on clear and transparent communication to customers. Consists of Fast responses on email or Phone call/Text.

Company I obtained my NCCCO cert through.

Gave me my start within the Industry from Rigging steel, panels, anything material wise to Shadowing top Operators to get a Seat. Building up hours I was given a sink or swim opportunity to operate the night shift at the site I was rigging and assisting at. Crane was 300 ft Standing building an 18 story building of Iron. Since that Job I was set up for success within the Industry and have not looked back. Stafford Crane Group was a great lift off Company and will forever be grateful for the School Provided and Employment given after completion of the 5 year Cert needed to Operate Cranes.

Note that I invested in the Cert School with the Info provided by a close mutual friend in the Industry. Separated with good terms to pursue travel and higher wages.

Residential Construction work.

Consisted of working part time for my Father as it was my First job and most consistent before getting my NCCCO cert. Condos mostly bought and flipped where installed with new fixtures and appliances, contractor work mostly.

My main Jobs where small to large labor Demo in the beginning to wall and floor installation. All work was provided through private investments while Owner(Father) and I would assist in oversight and completion of each job. Would say it was a great learning experience for any young man to learn any residential trade and learn the Investment side to real estate. Job was mostly Part Time as I searched for career paths.
