- As a Deli Clerk, it is my responsibility to keep the deli as clean as possible at all times in the day and maintain a friendly and outgoing demeanor with customers as I serve them. My tasks include helping customers with their orders which consists of slicing requested quantities of meat and cheese for them when I am working at the counter. I am also adept at working in the back which means cooking several items for our hot case throughout the day including fried chicken, and additionally cooking whole chickens for the warmer located near the front of the store.

- I essentially look over any drafts of the Resolution Center’s monthly newsletter to see if they make grammatical sense as the original drafters do not speak English as their first language and depend on me to let them know whenever something they write doesn’t make sense within English writing standards.

- “Tzuzamen”, which means “together” in Yiddish is a podcast run by Tzili Charney and Tzipi Trope who invite a variety of guests ranging from playwrights to social activists in order to give themselves and the audience an opportunity to learn and expand their horizons. I write the summative descriptions for the weekly episodes of the show and give ideas for episode titles.

- L.H. Charney associates is a building in Times Square that rents out its spaces to various companies and offices to use. I’m often allowed to work part-time there as a part of the sanitation staff whenever I need to make some extra money. Whenever I’m there I am given a variety of sanitation jobs such as mopping the floors, sweeping outside the entrance of the building, and cleaning windows.
- In addition to my cleaning duties I also worked at the front desk of the building and communicated clearly with various workers, tenants of the building when I checked them in, and delivery people when I told them to go to the appropriate entrance.

- Camp Kimama is an international summer camp which originated in Israel. It’s a day camp for mostly Half-American and Half-Israeli children can come and have fun with others their own age. I was a counselor there and my responsibilities included the picking up and dropping off of several kids to and from the camp in a shuttle. I did not drive the shuttle but I kept track of all the kids who were there and ensured their safe return home every day. I was also a counselor for several groups of kids, the groups tended to alternate every week, where I spent the day watching over them and participating in activities with them.

- Vector Marketing is a subsidiary of Cutco which is an American company that specializes in the domestic manufacturing and shipment of virtually any type of kitchen cutlery, from knives to pots. While I was only with Vector for a short time I did manage to sell most of their kitchen cutlery over the phone to the point where I had won numerous awards from the company and even got a letter of recommendation from the President of the local division.

- Volunteer – Project Sunshine Sept 2014 – Jun 2016
Project Sunshine is a non-profit organization that focuses on entertaining and bringing comfort to sick children and their families. It brings volunteer-led programming to pediatric patients and their families in a variety of medical settings. As part of my volunteering, I packed “activity kits” for the organization in order to distribute to families living with medical challenges. Each kit includes developmentally specific activities as well as a blank journal for creative expression, note taking, and thoughts of the day. Also on occasion, I visited the kids and played with them.
- Volunteer – Kishorit (Israeli Community for Adults with Special Needs) Winter 2017
Kishorit is a home for adults with special needs in the Western Galilee. It is a supportive community that provides a continuum of residential, social and vocational services. While I volunteered, I supported the members of the community emotionally and socially in ways such as spending time with them, conversing with them about their interests, and helping them with technological issues.
