Owen Hillis

Hello, my name is Owen Hillis, and I am a friendly and outgoing student from the Sunnyslope area, pursuing part-time employment. I do not have any previous work experience, but I have grown up tutoring for free in the Sunnyslope community and am currently the only math tutor at Sunnyslope Highschool, so I have experience working with customers. I was the captain of the Sunnyslope Basketball Team this previous season, so I know how to work as a team and follow directions, but also how to provide leadership to my peers when necessary. I am going to study engineering at the University of Washington in the fall, and I would love the opportunity to work at a local establishment to save up some money to afford to chase my dreams.

• Three years of Varsity Basketball and two years of Varsity Volleyball at Sunnyslope - Displays my experiences working as a team.

• I grew up tutoring at Wesley Community and Health Center, and have tutored at the Viking Learning Center at Sunnyslope Highschool throughout my time as a student there.
• I house and dog sit in my neighborhood, always making sure to take the utmost care of both the house and the dog.
