Primarily investigated allegations involving violations of the United States Anti-Kickback Statute of 1986. Dealt with complex investigations involving subcontractors making or offering to make payment, and employees accepting payments, for the purpose of improperly obtaining or rewarding favorable treatment in connection with a contractual action entered into by the US government. Subcontracts involved were often worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Based in Kuwait, frequent travel to Iraq was required in the performance of these duties. Reported directly to the company’s general counsel. Also investigated allegations of such things as trafficking in persons by subcontractors, forgery, and theft.

  • Served as an International Police Liaison Officer in Iraq under a contract through the United States Department of State. Assigned to the Baghdad Criminal Investigative Directorate.
