- Some of my job duties as a manager was to open different stores close different stores wherever I was needed . Opening the store included getting into the safe and getting the cash drawers out putting the cash drawers in their proper place counting the money in the drawers and the safe , making the deposit from the day before getting it ready for Brinks to come by and pick it up , also some of my other duties were scanning the returns and exchanges from the day before including batteries and putting them where they go for truck day . By now the store is open so answering the phone helping my red shirts when necessary and helping with any issues that may come up or occur from customers or whatever it may be . And then I had the normal paperwork that I had to fill out and file each morning I opened , closing the store was just the opposite but a lot less to do .
